Some of you may have seen the new interactive film at the Natural History Museum splashed all over the press in recent days, what a fantastic idea!

As you know, Melford are reknowned for ruggedised display solutions and what scenario could be tougher on the hardware than a room full of excited children!

Our advertising and digital applications division, Melford Digital, are proud to have been responsibe for those funky orange handsets installed within the Attenborough studio in the Natural History Museum's new Darwin Centre which allow users to be emersed in the wonders of augmented reality.

The interactive film solution, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, offers visitors a unique learning experience which requires the implementation of the latest technology and leading edge design.  Working closely with The Natural History Museum and IVC Media, Melford designed and manufactured the electronics hardware required to fulfil the expectations of such a forward thinking attraction.
