Melford was formed in Windsor UK during 1969, primarily supplying specialist monitor solutions to the broadcast industry including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and programme specific companies. The company rapidly established an enviable reputation for excellent service and high reliability. Major customers acknowledged the stability of Melford monitors which resulted in wide acceptance of Melford products and the Company's continued expansion and concentration exclusively on monitoring equipment. A move in 1973 to High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire provided increased space for production and additional R & D facilities.
With ISO 9001 certification, Melford is one of the leading display solutions providers for civil, military and commercial applications. Melford continues its involvement in the broadcasting industry but has evolved into a multi market supplier, across a variety of areas, including the rail sector, CCTV, marine, digital advertising and aerospace.

With an extensive range of standard monitors and a strong internal design team, Melford are able to support each individual customer’s needs including modification to standard products as required. Every Melford product despatched is fully cycled using the in-house Environmental Chamber, Melford are also able to provide colour calibration using two darkrooms including the latest Minolta camera systems.
